GelQuest saves all necessary data (sample names, trace data, analysis parameters etc.) in
project files. These are XML files which can easily be accessed by other software.
To open an existing project either use the menu item 'File' --> 'Add project' or use the 'Add a
project' icon in the toolbar.
To save a project either use the menu item 'File' --> 'Save Project' or use the icon 'Save GelQuest
project' from the toolbar.
